Fishing Break
Duntulm Castle Hotel is ideally situated to enjoy some of the best sea angling the Highlands has to offer set amongst some truly stunning coastal scenery.Our 'Fishing Trip' break is for three nights Dinner bed and breakfast accommodation and includes two days boat fishing for which a packed lunch will be provided.
The days fishing will be from 10:00 to 16:00 hours with a maximum of 6 persons per trip. The boat is the Sea Eagle in Staffin owned and skippered by Rob Maine, it is fully equipped with a fish finder and rods although you can bring your own rod and reel.
Refreshments are available on board.
Sea Eagle - at Staffin Harbour
Species that can be caught in the area, dependant on season, include Mackerel, Cod, Haddock, Coley, Pollack, Gurnard, Wrasse, Whiting, Dog Fish.
Whilst enjoying the spectacular landscape on your trip you may also spot whales, sharks, seals and dolphins, particularly in the summer months.
For shore fishing, particularly for Pollack there are also many rock venues within easy reach of the hotel.
